My Story…
Since I was 14, I have been battling migraines. 20 years ago I lost hope with my treatment and diagnosis. Today, that outlook has changed due to the treatment and care of my 25 year old daughter.
Dr Monteith, with the help of Dr Herrera and Dr Greco did not leave a stone unturned. They were determined to get her to improve daily. When she was 16, her experience was much like my own experience, she was told she would never been pain free, they could only hope to get her to a manageable level. It was disheartening to know that she would also suffer through daily migraines.
I have witnessed her care with Dr Monteith first hand the last few years. But It was over these last few months that I truly saw the fruit of her hard work. As my daughter suffered through a debilitating consistent migraine that just would not break, I saw them work meticulously on solutions. I am happy to say that after an excruciating bedridden 2 months, my daughter has returned to work and is on her way back to a standard of living that she and I used to only dream of. I am now hopefully that she will flourish and continue to improve her life.
Please help me in supporting this amazing team of doctors. Our lives would not be the same without them. I know that Dr Monteith and her team will keep making a difference once patient at a time.
